STYLE IDOL!

I simply love Zooey Deschanel. She encompasses everything I wish I could- style, music etc. She took this quote right out of my mouth...

"I love old music, old movies, screwball comedies, vintage clothes and basically I`m an old-fashioned gal." How??

I just liked these...

Performance

Last night at Young Woman's in Excellence I sang the song "In That Holy Place". I was nervous but I am so excited to say that each time I sing the nervousness goes away the minute I start singing. Happy days indeed! My mom played for me and as usual she did great. She was also supposed to play the opening song but missed it! She was practicing a song she got 5 minutes before we started that she had to play for some girls in the program. I just thought it was funny- totally out of it :)

River Walk and The Alamo

I really enjoyed the River Walk. The boat man was pretty funny- ex: everyone touch those leaves.... those were tropical poison ivy. I thought it was funny:)

The Alamo was neat too. It was cool to see the inside and know that some very brave people had once lived there. Tricia was so funny about this tree:) Its a Live Oak. But it was very cool. It would be the perfect climbling tree. To bad I couldn't try...

Awesome Ideas

Thanks to Tricia's DIY Ideas magazine, I found this amazing site. This couple has blogged their home makeover and their wedding. They just have some of the cutest ideas! Seriously check it out- mainly their wedding and house tour. If only I could be this creative....
